Totally Bamboo Founders Tom & Joanne Sullivan
Over 20 years ago, our first bamboo cutting boards came from scraps from our handmade furniture we were selling at street festivals.
On a lark, we brought them to an art show we were exhibiting in. We were stunned when they sold in minutes. Joanne looked at Tom and said "this is our new product" and Totally Bamboo was born!

This dish rack provides ample space to dry all types of dishes: plates, bowls, cups, mugs, pots and pans. Its beautiful design with sleek curves will look great on any countertop. Add even more utility by pairing it with the Totally Bamboo "Eco" Utensil Drying Caddy for utensils, flatware and cutlery. The Eco Dish Rack measures 19-7/8 inches wide, 17 inches deep and 10 inches high when in use. When the dish drying is done, this rack folds down for easy storage, from 9-1/4 inches high to just 4 inches high. This dish rack is easy to care for too— it quickly hand washes clean. Do not soak in water or wash in the dishwasher.

Why Bamboo?
Bamboo is gentler on knives than plastic and easier to clean and maintain than hardwood— it cleans quickly with hand washing in warm water.
As a grass, its roots remain and quickly regrows after harvest. It's grown organically even on difficult terrain without artificial irrigation or re-planting.
Its root system helps to prevent erosion. And the Moso bamboo used by Totally Bamboo is not a part of the panda's diet.

The company's founders, Tom and Joanne Sullivan, are artists who created the first bamboo cutting boards as gifts for friends and family from the scraps of their original products, director’s chairs. The cutting boards were lightweight, strong and had outstanding knife feel. The boards were such hits, Tom and Joanne discovered they were onto something special and Totally Bamboo was born.
